Familiar & Confident | Range Foundation
Step 2 of 4: Fundamentals & Live Fire
Service Description
Range Foundations is the first live-fire session in the Familiar & Confident series. We begin where the classroom class left off, with an emphasis on safe firearm management and building a repeatable shooting foundation. We’ll review range safety and procedures, then work through the fundamentals using our SGT BSAF framework: Stance, Grip, Trigger, Breath Control, Sight Alignment, Aiming Area, and Follow Through. Live fire begins deliberately. We work on loading and unloading, firearm manipulation, recoil management, sight use, trigger control, and making accurate, purposeful shots. The emphasis is not speed, a high round count, or passing a test. It is learning a process you can understand and repeat. The goal: You leave able to safely operate your handgun on the range, understand what makes a good shot, and know how to practice with purpose.
