Familiar & Confident | Range Confidence
Step 4 of 4: Putting it together. *Available as stand alone class.*
Service Description
Step 4 of 4: Putting It Together Confidence comes from being able to apply what you’ve learned and understanding both your abilities and your limitations. Range Confidence brings the Familiar & Confident series together. Rather than introducing a completely new set of fundamentals, this session asks you to apply the skills developed throughout the previous classes with greater independence and less instructor direction. After our safety briefing and a quick holster refresher, we move through silhouette shooting, multiple-target exercises, the Failure Drill, malfunction clearing, precision work, Dot Torture, and steel targets. Some exercises challenge accuracy. Others require transitions, firearm management, or a change in the level of precision required. Together, they give both the student and instructor a clearer picture of what is working well and what deserves continued practice. This is not a final exam and completing the series does not mean training is finished. We close by identifying strengths, areas for improvement, and practical next steps for continuing to develop your skills. The goal: You leave safer, more capable, and more confident with your handgun, with a realistic understanding of what you can do and a clear path for continued improvement. Previous: Familiar & Confident | Range Capability What comes next: Continued practice, Handgun Skill Builder, and other training appropriate to your goals. *Available as a stand alone workshop for qualified students. Idaho Enhanced CCW or similar training required.
